DTN Retail Fertilizer Trends

OMAHA (DTN) -- Although anhydrous and UAN28 prices temporarily spiked last week, most retail fertilizers tracked by DTN for the fourth week of June remained in the doldrums.

Six of the eight major fertilizers were lower compared to a month earlier. Urea leads the way lower, down 5 percent. The other fertilizers, DAP, MAP, potash, 10-34-0 and UAN28, were just slightly lower.

Urea had an average price of $388.88 per ton, DAP $498.81 per ton, MAP $516.53 per ton, potash $498.90 per ton, 10-34-0 $396.40 per ton and UAN28 $271.32 per ton.
